The admissions process of Academy of Innovation is to help the school select students who can benefit from the services we can provide and to assist parents in selecting the appropriate educational environment for their children.

WE ACCEPT STUDENTS...

Facing various learning barriers including:

  • Specifically diagnosed learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dyscalculia and dysgraphia.
  • Learning disabilities that are a “by-product” of another diagnosis like ADD/ADHD, epilepsy, or central auditory processing disorder.
  • Students who struggle to fit in a traditional classroom setting or master core concepts.

Applicants must have a formal diagnosis of learning disability, which may include one or more of the following: ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, central auditory processing disorder (CAPD) or non-verbal learning disabilities. A learning disability is generally defined as a cognitive dysfunction characterized by the inability to comprehend written symbols, despite conventional instruction, adequate intelligence and socio-cultural opportunities. ​Applicants must have a documented diagnosis (within the last three years) of one or more learning disabilities from a licensed psychologist to be considered for services.

The documentation must be received within three business days of this submission, otherwise your application will be archived.
