Entry Fee: $400 per team (4 person)

At Academy of Innovation, we’re observing Dyslexia Awareness month in a variety of ways. As we have done for the past several years, we’re participating in the GA International Dyslexia Association’s Dyslexia Dash. We take part in the Virtual 5K by walking the equivalent number of laps in the gym during PE. If you would like to participate in the dash with us, feel free to drop by any Monday -Thursday in October at 2:00. We’ll be walking. This year, for the first time, we are also participating in the Rock for Dyslexia Awareness event. Students have painted rocks and written the hashtag #dyslexiaawareness on the back. Photos of our rocks will be entered in a drawing with the Georgia chapter of IDA for a chance to win a prize for our school. Students are invited to leave their rocks somewhere in the community to further raise dyslexia awareness.Look for rocks to be coming home in bookbags later this month.

Learning Ally Audiobooks for Students with Dyslexia
Learning Ally is an online audiobook platform for Dyslexia and learning disabilities. This is available to all of our students and is a great reading resource through books they choose or their teachers recommend.
